What Is My Experience

Kylie is a senior strategic advisor with experience spanning sustainability, policy, and systems change, grounded in an executive career in complex advisory environments such as with Alcoa, Rio Tinto, and most recently with Wesfarmers.

What Is My Background

Her background has helped shape a compassionate, pragmatic, commercial and evidence-led approach to strategy development, business case development and stakeholder engagement. Kylie’s practice has focused on social, environmental and governance outcomes, particularly the role of culture, community, technology and policy in driving long-term wellbeing, equity and community resilience. She has strong experience in synthesising diverse internal and community perspectives and translating them into clear statements to influence government priorities that align with an entity’s strategy and values.

What Is My Experience

She has held Board roles in arts organisations, including with Western Australia’s peak arts and culture body: CACWA. Through this governance experience, she contributed to advocacy on arts infrastructure, regional arts investment and children’s access to creative participation, and supported policy engagement with the WA government that resulted in state-level arts announcement supporting children’s involvement in the arts. She is currently a Director of Good Sammy Enterprises.

Kylie is motivated by work that prioritises access and participation. She is collaborative, respectful of diverse voices, and is a great listener. She will bring integrity, curiosity and strategic clarity, a longer-term future-facing perspective and a commitment to practical impact and outcomes.
