With a deep understanding, compassion for and insight into our human nature, Sue is highly skilled at empathetically supporting individuals and organisation’s to perform at their best.

Background

My career has focused on the development of human beings, building and transforming organisational culture, and achieving organisational and business outcomes. Drawing on over 30 years’ experience in management, leadership, training and organisational development, I have held key roles in the not-for-profit, public and business sector.

In addition, seeking to influence deeper and lasting change by working with individuals, I practised as an Accredited Psychotherapist for many years, which inspired me to make professional development more accessible in the workplace. I then went on to train as a Professional Coach and have since utilised coaching as a key tool in leadership development and employee engagement.

As an Accredited member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), I also love serving on the Professional Development Committee of ICFWA (since 2018).

My Why

I am inspired to create a better world for all, together. I believe that authentic and quality relationships are based on deep listening and respect - the key to enabling us to flourish individually and collectively.

What I do

As a coach, I partner with a diverse range of individuals and leaders from all sectors, at all levels from senior executives, through to frontline staff. I work with people who are interested in progressing their work aspirations and creating meaningful impact in the world. I love assisting people to make the inner shifts necessary to achieve their goals.

Delivering a range of workshops — in areas including authentic leadership, management skills, managing change and transitions, performance management, building resilience, developing emotional intelligence, and effective communication — I enjoy empowering people with skills and strategies to succeed.

Sue also has a desire to understand and support Indigenous peoples. In her Public Sector role, for 10yrs she liaised with Indigenous communities across the State - which inspired her to work ( and continues to ) as a pro bono coach at WAALI (Western Australian Aboriginal Leadership Institute) and regularly go out on country with Indigenous Elders.

In addition, I facilitate a values-based leadership development program for women.

How

I love creating a safe place that enables clients to quickly get to the heart of what matters most to them. Using a solution-focused, strength-based approach, I ask questions that encourage self- awareness, greater choice and potent behaviour change.

I particularly enjoy supporting clients to breakthrough their limitations — by exploring the underlying issues and patterns that hinder forward movement e.g., perfectionism, imposter syndrome, or a strong inner critic (most of us have one!)

I’m also passionate about the fundamental role that health and wellbeing (mental, emotional, physical) plays in supporting us to operate at our best, and I often explore these key foundations with clients.

Testimonial

Sue is an expert coach who skillfully and carefully created a safe space that enabled me to develop a deeper and more meaningful connection with myself.  I found her coaching to be extremely transformative in terms of unlocking the parts of myself that can limit me or hold me back. I gained a deeper understanding of my own values and deep life purpose. Dr Nicky Howe, CEO SouthCare

What I Love

Spending quality time with family and friends, being in nature, leading a healthy life, gardening, yoga and meditation, music, dancing and basically doing anything creative!
